udang

Banyak udang banyak garam, banyak orang banyak ragam.

We can't please everyone at the same time, and most of the time, we would only hurt ourselves for being too nice. It is not easy to take on the responsibility of a leader. Yes, it definitely seems easy on the outside. But how many people would really put themselves in the shoes of others? I found this quote online, and thought of posting it here, "if you can't put yourself in my shoes, then don't try and walk my life for me". In fact, teens nowadays enjoy voicing out on Facebook, and minding the feelings of others is not a culture for them to practise anymore. I wonder how their parents would feel if they get to read all the hurtful statuses that their kids post on the internet everyday. Wait, I must mention, that sometimes, these teens learn by examples too. And this means that they are probably doing all these acts of defaming others because their parents do that too. Sigh. What is going on with our generation? I should stay calm. Yes, I might not know why, and what these people are writing about, but it just saddens me to know that what they do now is slowly becoming a norm in our society today.

O Lord, thank you for the light that You have shown us. I pray that these people would repent, and we, as Your followers, would continue to reflect Your love, to them, and guide them back to Your side. Touch our lives, Lord, and work in us.
